Whenever I create a new WordPress site, I like to setup a placeholder, or maintenance page, on the main domain name – that way, if someone goes to the site, there’s already some sort of call to action (like an email opt-in) or other message to notify the user that the site is coming soon.

- A WordPress site
- The Coming Soon Plugin from Seedprod
